Peschke, Srebotnik Lead Women's Doubs...

Peschke and Srebotnik
The World No. 1 team of Kveta Peschke and Katarina Srebotnik lead the Western & Southern Cup women’s doubles draw. The 2011 Wimbledon champions have also collected Tour titles in Auckland, Doha and Eastbourne this year. At the bottom half of the 32-player draw are Gisela Dulko and Flavia Pennetta, winners of the Australian Open in January.

The top-seeded Peschke and Srebotnik could play the team of two-time doubles Grand Slam finalist Chia-Jung Chuang and Nottingham singles finalist Olga Govortsova. The No. 1 seeds could also meet Alla Kudryavtseva, who partnered Govortsova to win titles in Memphis and Birmingham this year, and 2011 French Open Mixed Doubles winner, Casey Dellacqua, who played with Scott Lipsky.

The No. 2 seeds Dulko and Pennetta will face the winning team between Marbella winners Nuria Llagostera Vives, who advanced to the ’09 Cincinnati doubles final, and Arantxa Parra Santonja and the Brussels finalists Klaudia Jans-Ignacik and Alicja Rosolska.

The No. 3 seeds Vania King and Yarsoslava Shvedova, who won the 2010 Wimbledon and US Open titles, also received a first round bye. They will face either the American up-and-comers Alexa Glatch and Christina McHale or the Spanish veterans Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez and Anabel Medina Garrigues, who won five doubles Tour titles together.

Other teams include 2010 French Open winner Francesca Schiavone and 2011 Australian Open and French Open quarterfinalist Andrea Petkovic along with nine-time Tour doubles titlist Daniela Hantuchova, who reached the Cincinnati doubles quarters in ’09, and 2011 Wimbledon singles semifinalist Sabine Lisicki.
